"I Wanna Sex You Up"
1991, from the album C.M.B, directed by Lionel C. Martin
-
This song originally appeared in the film "New Jack City," but the version used in the video is from Color Me Badd's debut album.
The premise for the video is the guys' romantic encounters being videotaped by a female Russian spy/stalker who later watches the tape for her own ... amusement. Filmed in Long Island City, New York.

The premise is four young girls at a slumber party, watching films of the CMB guys and fantasizing about them being their boyfriends.
Sam is giving an abundance of gifts; Mark is proposing; Bryan is singing and pledging love; and KT is giving a massage.
This is the version featured on Color Me Badd's "Video Scrapbook 1991."

Yes, there are two versions of this video. They are nearly the same, except in the first, the girls are clearly dreaming, in this, it is actually happening. There are also a few different shots, angles, etc.
This is the version which aired on most music video channels (most notably "The Box" and MTV).

Premise: The guys of CMB are stranded on an island, and a treasure chest washes ashore that contains, among other things, a magazine. The guys, having not seen a woman in years [according to an interview about it], all have fantasies about the girl on the magazine's cover. The magazine is called CMB, by the way.

This song originally appeared on C.M.B, but the version used for the video is a remix featuring legendary funk bass player Bootsy Collins.
The premise: CMB is auditioning girls to be in their video. They each take their chosen girl out [or at least envision it], and Bootsy steals each away. The guys, for some reason, don't seem to fully react to this fact until they are in the editing phase of their video.
Mark gives his a bath in a tub with no water; Sam takes his to a movie theatre (where she strips); Bryan is making out in a car; KT is in a locker room.
NOTE: Jossie Harris, a former In Living Color "Fly Girl" and dancer for Janet Jackson is featured in this video [she plays KT's chosen lady, and later stretches a leg across Sam's lap].

This is a beautiful, black and white video, featuring the lyrics from the song being written across the screen [in color]. The setting? For some reason... a freight elevator.

The theme is basically the guys in The Garden of Eden [complete with a snake, and an "Eve" in a leaf bikini biting an apple].
NOTE: Bryan showed up on the set with a shaved head - basically to make "the suits" at the record label mad.

The guys are in a futuristic dance club, and clips from the film "Striptease" are thrown in here and there. The song appeared in the film, but was, contrary to public opinion, NOT on the actual soundtrack album.

The final Color Me Badd video featuring the original quartet. Bryan visits the home he once shared with a girlfriend/wife [played by model Sue Ellen Soto], as the other guys wait. It can be inferred that the woman has passed away.
The video was shot in New Orleans, Louisiana (U.S.A) in the early summer.
